Functional Pottery:  In this modern paced world, where everything is mass produced, I love the idea of making functional pottery that has some soul. I try to incorporate in my work that the piece has been made by hand. I intentionally leave my finger prints or allow my throwing lines  to be seen also enjoy adding hand carved detail to give texture and to remind the user that this is a piece of pottery made by loving hands.

SILENT AUCTIONS

Each day of the show a silent auction will be held. All of the items are kindly donated by our vendors. The auctions generally begin around 10:30 and finish at 2:30.

PROCEEDS FROM SHOW

This year proceeds from Fair December will support The Compass food bank and Cawthra Park School Council. In Fair December 2016 donated $4,000 to Peel Children's Center and also donated to Cawthra Park & QE School Councils. In the past Fair December has raised over $25,000 for Princess Margaret Weekend To End Cancer and over $29,000 for QE School Council and $7,000 to Cawthra Park School Council.

GOURMET FOODS

Enjoy fresh baked goodness from many of our awesome vendors. Qe School Council will be serving hot & cold food and beverages both days out of the Fair December Cafeteria.
